I am with you 100% and you articulate the reality of everything so well. I too am aghast at the depths of evil. Just when I think I have seen, read, or heard it all, even worse atrocities are uncovered.
The only thing I would add is that so many people connect the present evil (or past evil) with a God who cannot possibly be perfect love and that somehow He actually is responsible for the continuing of all this evil. Accepting Jesus Christ as our Savior and understanding the nature of God and the depth of His love is the only truth that helps us to endure these horrors. "Greater is He that is in me, than he that is in the world" is a truth we must hold on to.
Amazing Polly is such a great source for relevant information and she pretty much tells it like it is. I always enjoy your comments...and I can tell we are on the same page with a lot of our understanding about the world and what is happening. I always say "Hope for the best but prepare for the worst" and that includes our physical, mental, emotional and spiritual parts of lives. We were never promised a rose garden and even if we were, we couldn't avoid the thorns. God bless you and yours.
Thanks. Even though "We were never promised a rose garden", there are incredible solutions being hidden from us, and to which we are being misled. It's just another evil aspect dominating this world. If you get a chance to go to the Back to Eden Farming website (backtoedenfilm.com), watch the video there. It's extraordinary. Many years ago I learned from this man and saw what God revealed to him. The key to understanding the holy Spirit and pleasing Him is doing things in accordance to His Nature's laws.
I have the "Back to Eden" books...somewhere. I always tried to do everything organic or natural. My favorite gardening trick (Ruth Stout) was to cover the garden with mulch hay to cut down on weeding and it works terrifically. Keeps the plants cool and doesn't allow the weeds to grow. I will look at the video...thanks.
As a compendium to this topic. It is interesting knowing that wildcraft foods have the most complete nutritional value there is. For example, wild blueberries, beat organic hybrid blueberries. Organic hybrid blueberries in turn beat commercial hybrid blueberries. There's is several reasons why this is so. God's creation always proves to be far the best.
Bottom line is God is great and His creation is always far better than our best attempts.
Watched the video and it was informative and inspiring. I haven't gardened in years but that sure made me dream of delicious, healthy food from the garden and I loved the naturalness of his approach ...inspired by God. Thanks for sharing.
