A Canadian pastor remained behind bars Friday after holding church services in violation of COVID-19 public health orders.

Royal Canadian Mounted Police said pastor James Coates of the GraceLife Church in Edmonton, Alberta, was arrested after police and public health officials visited the church on Sunday and observed violations of the Public Health Act, which says the church cannot be at more than 15% capacity and congregants must physically distance and wear masks.

Mr. Coates had previously been charged on Feb. 8 with violating the order and was served an undertaking with conditions to comply, the CBC reported. He turned himself over to the police on Tuesday and is charged with two counts of contravening the Public Health Act and on one criminal charge for failing to comply with a condition of an undertaking.

Lucifer and Satan are not the same being.

Satan is a title, "the adversary", he is stated to only act at God's direction, he is the lord of the unbelievers, but is also a servant of God, he cannot act without direction from God, and he is a loyal servant to him.

His role is to test the faith of men, such as Job, to bring about false beliefs and religions, to bring tragedy and loss, suffering and pestilence, all to show that their faith is God is built on trust and obedience and an unwavering belief in his goodness, and not on just what God could do for them, such as grant them protection, or fortune, or favor in this life or the next.

Lucifer, on the other hand, was not the same being, he was the highest a holiest of angels, he was the cherub who created he sun, hence his name, light bringer, and title of the morning star.

He rebelled against God to usurp his throne when it was revealed that the Earth was not made for the angels, but for mankind, and that the angles would be servants not just of God, but also of this new race, initially the thought was that they would be the ones to live upon creation, and many were angered that this was not so.

Lucifer felt that God betrayed him, and so he would lead one third of the angels against him, god in turn would take a third of the host to fight for him against the rebellion, the final third did not wish to partake in the fight, and fled, or hid themselves away.

Lucifer and his army are now trapped eternally in Hell, they never escaped, and never could, these are not the unclean spirits that are depicted as devils and demons in the Bible, as these types never obey God, but reject God's rule, and so are sealed away for eternity inside the abyss.

Then he becomes the corrupted into his opposite, the prince of darkness.

Revelation 12:9 Authorized (King James) Version 9 And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

Lucifer was his name in Heaven. Satan is his name on earth.

That makes things a bit clearer, I'm still confused.

Thanks for sharing that with me.
