True, Quipper. Though it is possible to see who actually makes a comment still with a little effort. If you mark a comment as saved and then view your saved comments it will show the name of the person who actually made that comment and not a random name. This only applies to comments on posts - saved posts still have randomized names.
For reference, as you will see my name randomized, I am Khro_ making this comment: https://poal.co/u/Khro_ If you save my comment and then go view your saved comments, you will see that it is me who made this comment.
