My takeaway is a little different. Not denying anything you pointed out, I just noticed the article is about a place near Seattle.

Washington state has it's own flavor of DHS shenanigans beyond what's going on at the border. They've been taking kids for over a decade and processing them through the foster system for profit.

Patriot, I agree Wa State has it's own flavor, but hearing from friends similar stories. We definitely need to keep our eyes out. We have seen that they are put up in hotels while our citizens can live on the streets.

Money. Children are being used for profit. Plain and simple. Hollyweird uses them as entertainment. NGOs use them as revenue. No complicated reasons here. NGOs pretend to be altruistic. In truth, they are opportunists and seize on taxpayer funded opportunities of making money. In this case, changing their business model from foster care to migrant child shelter offers more money.

You can blame Xiden and his oligarch owners if you wish or blame the NGO that is changing their business model. In the end, foster children are losing out over illegal migrant children.
