That area is a mess. A lot of well off brown people living in 500k min town houses and barely drivable roads that are perpetually under construction.
Driving on the pothole ridden highways past the construction and porta potties, you would swear you were in Iraq. It looks like a warzone and has for well over 10 years. They never stop working on it and it always looks like trash.
Go out in public there and observe the people and you would swear you were in Brazil.
The good news is that you can still buy a small condo (apartment) with low ceilings for 300k so you can be close to "Trader Joe" and the dry cleaner. lol
The main work there for most people is government contracting.
