Of course politicians are not calling for removing the second amendment, because there is an actual legal, constitutional process for removing or altering constitutional amendments. And they know that would not succeed.

What they are doing instead is illegal. They are pushing agendas to subvert the second amendment, and the constitution.

Politicians who call for changing gun laws without also calling for the legal process of [legally] changing the constitution are ALL in violation of their constitutional oaths, and should be at least removed from office, or tried for sedition. None should even be allowed to run for office.
