I've be noticing a consistent 9:1 ratio of corruption:use of dollars spent. A cheap minimum standard motel for someone, who shouldn't be here anyway, would run $40-60. I used to make pretty good money, and I've never stayed in a $400/day room. The border is a huge problem that will likely explode in the coming months. We're getting way more people over the border than even the GWP will acknowledge.
However, this massive corruption is a severe problem as well. Corruption in the federal government used to be about 2-3:1. The government can't provide any services with a 9:1 ratio--it's just too high of a corruption rate.
