Brother, notice how they avoid unloading the ship. they could airlift the containers with helos. ton of work granted, would make it lighter, makes me suspect they do not want people to know what is in those containers.

Wonder what Boskalis is going to do. They may decide removing sea containers is only viable option.

Patriot, I suspect they have no choice.

Brother if I were in charge of removing that ship I would first try tugs and maybe a destroyer or other shipi with a lot of torque to dislodge her. Unloading to raise the draft would be a last resort. We'll see what happens. I can't imagine how long it takes to go around the horn of Africa.

Brother appears they tried the tugs, now claiming several weeks before they can clear it. I just can not see them getting this done without losing the extra weight.

According to an internet shipfag (not me) it takes about 2 weeks to go around the Horn, and it's dangerous. Shipfag also claims that the tug boats used in the Suez are rinky-dink pieces of shit, run by below average crews, and managed by largely incompetent canal managers.

JUST WAIT FOR A WIND GUST TO BLOW THE OPPPOSITE DIRECTION

The dick and butt satellite track does not help answer this question.

That is what makes me think it was done on purpose.

This could break, spilling the containers everywhere. Shutting down the canal for who knows how long.

Why do the refer to the ship as Ever given?

[–] 0 pt

Thats the name of the ship. Ever Given. Owned by Evergreen transport company.
