Appvion Inc., a paper mill plant in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, is closing down on April 1 despite its union endorsing Joe Biden in 2020.

State of the art manufacturing plants closing down. This started happening bac when Obummer was President till he came out ans said "these jobs aren't coming back".

The New York Post called it the “first significant manufacturing loss in this state since President Biden took office.” 293 people will lose their jobs: 250 union, 43 management.

“When 300 people lose good-paying jobs, it’s not just 300 people that are adversely affected,” said Stephen McKnight of the Altoona-Blair County Development Corporation. “For every one job lost, an additional four to seven jobs outside the company are hurt, too. The long-term impact is even worse, costing a region millions of dollars that used to go directly into the community, schools and businesses.”

The president of the local United Steelworkers branch, Mitchell Becker, said that he’s had his job for 25 years and had no idea it was on the chopping block.

The plant owners will be headed to Meheco where they won’t have to deal with overbearing regulations from climate hoax or any union BS, and have an abundance of cheap labor. Pretty soon it will be Americans trying to sneak into Meheco to find work to feed their families.

Brother, tell them to Thank their Union.

Exactly brother. Every union I've been forced to join to work has felt like communism.

Brother, heard Twinkies asked the employees to not request a pay raise until they could get out out their financial jam, Union pushed for the raise and Twinkies shut down completely. The later they were bought by some other Company. Union sure really screwed the employee's on that move.

HA HA! Fucking idiots got what they deserve for endorsing Biden. I hope they learn the lesson because it is a very expensive one.

the “first significant manufacturing loss in this state since President Biden took office.”

The NY Post says "first" like they expect more - and so do we.

Nice catch Patriot. Yes, we expect those jobs to not come back as Obummer said. That's their plan.

Or the jobs will go to non-unionized, low-wage foreign workers.

What's it called when Government and business are in cahoots? Fascism.
