You're right of course. I just refer back to my own hetero orientation toward adult women. First off, I enjoy conversing about mature topics (not just sex but art, technology and other stuff) with an adult woman. So, I can't even really understand pedophiles and rapists from my perspective. The only way I can understand such people is to realize that they are predatory. That's what gets them off. Sure, I don't get it and most likely never will. How they got that way is a thing for researchers and scientists to explain. Can they change or be changed? Again, from my own perspective, nope. No more than you can change my orientation. You couldn't make me a fag or pedo no matter what. I would psychologically implode if someone tried to force me. So, no, I don't think rehabilitation of these predators is possible at all. In my mind, from all I know or have read, they are missing critical functions in their mind. They are defective. It's like trying to tune a radio in a car that doesn't have an actual radio behind the dials. Sure, it looks like a radio, has dials that move and all that but there's nothing behind it. All the public needs to know is that these defective humans can never be in our society. They can actually do brain scans and find these people that lack normal human empathy. In the scans these people show up as clearly psychotic. Those regions of the brain don't function properly or at all. In other words, emotional music doesn't really effect them. They don't cry or get sad watching sad movie scenes and those areas just don't light up on the scans. They do feel anger and fear which are base emotional responses even an alligator feels. They can mimic emotional responses but the responses will be nothing more than play acting to elicit a response from the targeted person. Some are very good at mimicry which is why so many are able to get into politics and positions of power and authority.
