You and I don't know that. Many of these 'retired' Generals are not really retired at all. Some of which have been given special assignments. Wearing the uniform is not always necessary. Did you know retired officers, especially of high rank can be called back into service at any time? There's more than you and I will ever know.

You're the one disagreeing that retired non-active former members of the military have no authority or command over enlisted active duty personnel and try to justify that with some ' ... we just don't know' bs and then suggest that because some former members might choose to be reinstated to former active duty status and rank that means they were actually off the books larping ??.
