Oh, no no no, we were told states rights states rights states rights when we demanded that the president pushed back against Democrat governors destroying their own constituents like this. States rights! State rights! That was the excuse for the failure of the White House’s response to Covid hysteria.
It was certainly the best time to golf, when murderous governors were smashing their own citizens and literally suspending the constitutional rights of their own people, the executive branch with special powers and privileges to interfere, even an obligation to interfere, just sat there and watched and used states rights as an excuse. So afraid to do the right thing, the same fear we saw repeatedly for four years as riots raged and cities burned because of “election optics.”
Results matter. These are the results. I don’t wanna hear excuses, these are the results. I don’t wanna hear how hard it was, these are the results. You have to make the argument that results don’t matter in order to be OK with this.
Uncontrolled riots, spies liars and traitors unpunished, Deep state walking free with no major arrests, those are the results. I don’t wanna hear how hard it was, I don’t want to hear about the challenges, those are the results. They matter. They always have. And I don’t wanna hear excuses from the same people they told us for four fucking years “arrests are right around the corner.” You were wrong. They were never coming. And they always mattered.
