I would’ve agreed with this three years ago, but it’s too late now. We sat there and watched as the election was stolen because no one was allowed to criticize a decent president who could’ve been a great one.
It was called in 2017: he wasn’t doing enough to protect the election process. This isn’t hindsight, people can go back and look at posts on this forum and many others, they are still there, of people desperately trying to rally the troops to pressure Trump into doing what was necessary.
All of the people who were chastised as being “doom and gloom” turned out to be right all along. They laid out common sense ideas, things that could have been done immediately by the administration to begin building protections into our election process and no one listened. It was seen as criticism of the president and therefore rejected by anyone on the right because they cared more about Trump looking good than they did about getting results.
We absolutely deserve every single last second of the beating we’re about to get. We were warned repeatedly and didn’t listen.
