I suspect that this revelation has an ulterior motive - establishing digital ID. They'll use this surveillance to convince us that the only way we'll have online privacy is to adopt digital ID - ironically, managed by the same Globalists conducting the surveillance. The difference is, the digital ID will also allow them to prevent us from accessing information, while giving them even more information about us.
