Similar journey here. I literally have to censor myself, because I have not only been banned (and unbanned), I have been called a pedo, a shill, etc., told to go fuck myself, die, etc. I think I might be the first person Crensch banned here at Poal. Banned because I questioned the way he runs things. Labeled a Pedo Shill. Unbanned because I did the requisite apology/ass kissing. Now I am here, and he is not. Why stay? Because it gives me a view I can't get anywhere else. Valuable. As long as I keep my opinions to myself. So it's a one-way street, but I try to "play by the rules" so that I can continue to participate, even if in a limited manner. All things considered, I have found the Q/Trump supporter environment FAR less tolerant of alternative views and questions than the other side. My experience has been that questioning the narrative and/or criticizing the dear leaders is just not tolerated. I can deal with the name calling, though it seems stupid and childish to me, but banned for disagreeing? That's crap no matter who is doing it. If whatever you believe in cannot withstand a bit of pushback, critical thinking, questions, etc., you might have a problem. Trust the plan doesn't cut it. That's just some more fairytale bullshit there.
