Abbott is a dick and can eat one, too. He and Ken Paxton are the ones who came up with the half-baked scheme to keep our grid deregulated and pass it off to ERCOT. Abbott should have never shut down Texas or made a state-wide mask mandate, and he should have slapped down any county judge or mayor that passed one. The only reason why he is "opening" Texas back up next Wednesday is purely for politics to try to keep his base. It's a total "look over here, not over there" political move to save his ass from getting strung up thanks to his terrible decisions with our grid. Screw him, and the horse he rode in on.
