Normally deepfakes break down when objects pass by the face. Yet FakeTom here is waving his hands around, adjusting his hair and putting on sunglasses seamlessly. No glitches or flickering at all. Insane.

This is easily the best Deepfake I've seen so far.

People seem to forget the amount of potential this has to be a huge weapon, already a Brazilian politician was accused of being in an ‘entanglement’ with several women during a party because of a hyper realistic deepfake like this and had to prove his innocence. Crazy.

To everyone saying, "yeah I can still see it's fake" - The technology's not perfect - yet. Give it 2 or 3 years and there will be practically no way to tell anymore whether it's fake or real. This technology's going to change cinema. They can create a virtual personality (I know they have already done that) and they can become a star. We won't be able to tell the difference

To be realistic, there is an ungodly amount of audio and visual footage of this guy. Makes the computers job much easier

I suppose researchers will need to develop an AI to spot the difference between deepfake and reality now that they’re getting this good.

You can see the fake face applying in 0:03 when he is moving around a lot, apart from there - quite convincing

It's actually fairly easy to spot the imperfections, for example at 0:43, when he puts his glasses on. Nonetheless, it's disturbing to think how this technology is gonna be improved in the future.
