Crazy. To everyone saying, "yeah I can still see it's fake" - The technology's not perfect - yet. Give it 2 or 3 years and there will be practically no way to tell anymore whether it's fake or real. This technology's going to change cinema. They can create a virtual personality (I know they have already done that) and they can become a star. We won't be able to tell the difference To be realistic, there is an ungodly amount of audio and visual footage of this guy. Makes the computers job much easier I suppose researchers will need to develop an AI to spot the difference between deepfake and reality now that they’re getting this good. You can see the fake face applying in 0:03 when he is moving around a lot, apart from there - quite convincing It's actually fairly easy to spot the imperfections, for example at 0:43, when he puts his glasses on.
