Stores and their store discount cards with personal ID attached to the card. All purchases by individuals being uploaded to central database.
Logically, there's no legitimate reason to attach purchases to individuals to assist marketing. There is however much to be gained reselling that info to third parties but for what purpose?
Patriot, appears they were getting profiles on everyone.
There must be some way a creative person could have fun with this technology. Like the guy who took one hundred cell phones with geo location enabled and created down town google traffic jams. Like, what if you took a couple hundred geo tracked cell phones cross country in Texas Canyon through some of those boulder hills?
And here's another thing: They always want your cell phone off on a plane because they claim it could interfere with the planes navigation or some such. I'm not believing this because if that were possible at all they would simply take possession of all cell phones, Turn them off and remove the batteries for the duration of the flight.
In the back of my mind is a vague idea that somehow these profiles they create could be manipulated by targeted purchases. If you can't actually beat the system why not play with it to drive the overlords crazy?
Patriot, mass arrests would be nice, about time they face trials for their crimes.
Notice even the grocery stores track you with their card, they states savings, why the need of a card ? just drop the price.
