Hey my household survived the single digit temps with no power or water for a week! Actually busted out some of my emergency supplies. Most people out here in the country did fine. Worst part was all the pine trees falling from ice... That shit is stressful.

I saw much crying and screaming for “mr guv’ment” to save those poor Texans. But in any other time Texans are claiming to be the toughest, most self-sufficient state and that’s simply untrue.
