Yes he did.

He either misdirected or made a mistake. And neither you nor I know which.

For what its worth, any student of history who knows how to think is aware that mistakes are made in war.

For example, these men made mistakes;

General George Washington

General George Patton

President Ronald Reagan

President Abraham Lincoln

President Donald Trump

General Dwight D Eisenhower

General U S Grant

And certainly President J F K who trusted the wrong people unto his death.

So ... make you choice, and own your maturity and wisdom... or wanting thereof.
