Maybe make a sanctuary state for American Citizens. Have to be a citizen to actually have a job. Have to be a citizen to rent an apartment or get a driver's license or own a weapon. Lots of other protections but you get the idea.

Basic fucking middle school economics shows how bad minimum wage hikes are. How stupid do you have to be to want to make 40 extra dollars a week but have your bills go up 70 dollars a week.
