Laura Silsby went on to work for Alert Sense, the company responsible for Amber Alert. Her work name, Laura Gayler, but the company no longer has her listed in their employ. One journalist brought up some good points, the obvious was Silsby/Gayler working for Amber Alert, the other was just how valid is the Amber Alert system, with a connection like this? Chilled me to the bones.
Thanks for bringing this up and, yes, I am aware that she changed her name and was hired by Alert Sense. Made my blood run cold, too, and every time an Amber Alert is issued, I wonder what the real deal is.
Certainly is suspicious when even one person involved in a children smuggling crime is then working for the company responsible for Amber Alert. I like to believe Amber Alert is a good program, just evil has found its way in. I write this as the southern border is open and children crossing supposedly without parents; Mexico or whatever country, needs to take responsibility of the children. We cannot keep track of our own children in our own system; introducing undocumented children is nothing more than throwing the children to the wolves.
This is where research pays off, read articles where many of the parents put their daughters on birth control in case they were raped on the way to USA. Then it is not classified information on the drug Cartels being at war with one another, kids being abducted and sold into the sex slave trade. And if you looked into SE Asia, there are places where families are so poor they sell their kids for 10 Grand. The information has always been out there.
Absolutely! The only people pretending this isn't happening are the ones who are involved because they enjoy doing awful things with the kids and/or profiting from it. I remember walking my dog one day at a park when I guy offered me $500 for my dog, then when I refused, he offered $1000. I still refused even though I needed the money at the time, but I love my dog too much and would never do anything to put him in harm's way. Makes me ill knowing that parents are selling their kids for not much more and easily dismissing every thought about the kinds of horrible things could happen to them. What won't people do for the almighty dollar?
Patriot, I would not even trust them with a sewer rat, even the sewer rat deserves better. They can no longer keep up with damage control any longer. I would not sell my dog either. And the 10 grand was high from what I read, read the price went even lower, explains why they exploited families in third world countries, making them so desperate this could happen.
