I never thought that ""they were not eating MRE,s" . In Viet Nam bamboo splinters was used in the food. Splinters would lodge all over the gut and sometimes killed. There is a federal law "against tampering with food" Remember licking the "ice creamers"?
Patriot, I suspected they got hot meals. but it being DC you would suspect they would get better meals then what we read here. They definitely had many uses with bamboo, Punji stakes and used for torture also. Makes me ask where is the Health Dept ?
