I used to say "I'm exempt" and most places would just let me pass. Our local Stater bros tried to push back but I argued them down until they just gave up.
Some other places tried to push back with "It's our policy" and would either refuse to listen to my arguments about the law or just meekly give in and assist me. Metro PCS cell phones tried that line and gave in. The original owners never bothered me at all but new owner and employees tried to hassle me at first. Yesterday a new employee never even mentioned a mask though she wore one as per "store policy". She was extremely sweet and easy to get along with and I thanked her before I left for not making the mask an issue and preached a bit.
At our local 7-11 one employee got ratted out for not wearing a mask so he wears one now, knows how I feel personally and was pissed he got ratted out and yelled at by the manager. When I came in he took his mask down to speak with me. He never puts it over his nose though. At a local liquor store a couple miles away the employees may or may not wear a "mask" but just sometimes use a stupid clothe. They NEVER bother people about masks.
Yesterday I walked into Home Depot and used customer service to get a delivery of materials. The lady taking our order wore a mask but ignored me as I don't wear a mask. One customer came around a corner, swiveled to face me and glare, realized maybe from my frank look back at him that it's not gonna go well for him, about faced and duck walked away. I got some other angry stares but no one confronted me and the employees didn't seem to care a bit.
Lowe's will just wave you through if you say you are exempt. I teased a guy at 7-11 in a joking way for not wearing a mask, (I wasn't either) and he turned, looked at me with a grim face and said in solemn tone, "I'm not a slave".
It's amazing that there are absolutely no guidelines for: 1. you got the vaccine now you can't get COVID and can't give it either. 2. you had COVID already and you are now immune and can't give it either. There is only "wear a mask - shut up and comply"
If the masks stopped covid, it would have been over by now. If covid was so deadly real, all non mask wearers would be dead by now. If masks worked then why let people out of jail to stop the spread? If people in jail had so much covid it was a danger then why let them out to spread it further? If isolation worked then why is it old people in isolation in their rooms were dying like flies after being tested? If it was so contagious, then why were health care workers in quarantined shuffled from one place to another and allowed to mingle with outside populations?
If sunshine kills viruses in seconds, (and we know it does) then why tell people to stay indoors? If sunshine and salt water kill viruses, (and we know it does) then why make it illegal to use a public beach?
Since we know a virus can be easily passed on by using money without gloves then why do cashiers not wear gloves? If the virus was so deadly then why don't they have hazardous waste containers to deposit used masks? I see used masks laying around all over the place and no one seems to care.
At a local Walmart I was scolded for not wearing a mask but allowed to pay for my stuff anyways and told to remember my mask next time. The cashier had something to say about me not having a mask. I pointed out she had a mask and a huge plastic barrier between her and I. But to take my money she had no gloves and stepped aside from the plastic barrier to hand my change back.
If social distancing is so important then why do mask wearers literally invade your personal space to get in your face and scream at you for not wearing a mask?
This is clown world. Idiocracy at it's extreme of stupidity.
