I'm not sure that "artistic works meant to portray an inevitable real event" that turn out to echo the actual event proves predictive programming. It doesn't prove anything more than the thing turned out pretty much as we expected.
I'm not saying that we have not been, and continue to be, methodically programmed using the media. But in this case it's not a slam dunk.
