Agreed. You’d think people in this state, at least on the coast, would be used to this by now. We have a weather event almost every year, and it always interrupts power, food, and/or water availability. There are simply too many people, too many unique situations, too large a variety of problems, for the government to ever be able to address those problems effectively.
This one did spark my liberal sister in law out of her comfort zone, though. Somehow, this one finally got through to her.
Patriot, I am glad it is going better now for all the people in Texas with this, and shows why we need to share information to keep it real. Exactly, common sense should prevail. One should stock up for whatever may come. And like you pointed out, this can happen every year.
I am glad to hear your Liberal Sister in Law is seeing the truth, I hope more people will be waking up.
