People need to understand what "dismissed as moot" means and then read the constitution again...
This is the Court shrugging their shoulders and saying "what do you want us to do about it? We have no authority to remove a President."
Once the electoral votes are certified and the new President is sworn in the Court has no authority to do anything. Impeachment is the only way to remove a President. Period.
I thought the charge was allegations of massive voter fraud (which is a crime) not removing a President.
Not arguing... just clarifying what the Court said... they did not dismiss for lack of standing. The dismissed as moot which is them saying "The damage is already done."
I understand where you are coming from but them dismissing because the "damage is already done" is outrageous. Why do we go to courts in the first place? Because damage has been done to us and we want restitution.
So the court has no authority to see the case before the election because they can't prove damages AND they have no authority to see the case after the election because it is moot.
>One wonders what this Court waits for. We failed to settle this dispute before the election, and thus provide clear rules. Now we again fail to provide clear rules for future elections. The decision to leave election law hidden beneath a shroud of doubt is baffling. By doing nothing, we invite further confusion and erosion of voter confidence. Our fellow citizens deserve better and expect more of us.
I think people understand QUITE CLEARLY what the courts are saying. They are QUITE CLEARLY telling Americans to pound sand while hiding behind the shroud of "lack of jurisdiction".
Yeah. It is a total cop out. Like what the fuck is the point of having the court if they are just going to sit on their thumbs. What this is is dereliction of duty.
Have you read the Color Revolution Playbook? Having a election stolen is only part of it... having the steal be OBVIOUS and total corruption of the system is also part of the playbook.
