Nuclear power has always been a government subsidized loser. It's not clean energy as it advertises. Radio-isotopes are released in the air and water and account for a much higher level leukemia and other cancers with anyone living within a 75 miles of the nuclear plant. Then there is the growing stockpile of spent fuel rods that sit on the property. It's a ticking time bomb. There is no place to store them Yucca Mountain was shut down many years ago.

Exactly Patriot, Outstanding point, if it is so clean why do they have to bury the waste deep and hope it never comes to the surface or underground water. Thank you for pointing this out.
