The CDC keeps two sets of flu numbers. Actual recorded flus cases and flu deaths and a BS inflated estimate of “flu burden” cases and deaths, which they pull straight out of their assholes, as the explain here https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/how-cdc-estimates.htm They don’t need “estimates” because they record the real numbers every year. Typical number of flu deaths annually is around 10,000 to 15,000. That is the real number as recorded by physicians. There were about 8000 flu deaths recorded in the last 14 months or so. Most of those deaths are from last winter and spring. But flu season really doesnt kick in until January and much of the death data from January and February is not yet submitted to the CDC system. I suspect ACTUAL flu deaths will be down by 50 percent of so because of all the masks and social distanceing shit. But we wont know what the real flu numbers are for the 2020-2021 flu season until April or May. The CDC *is* lying about flu. They have been exagerating how much flu we’ve been having for years.
