The windmill energy capital Dead in its tracks with no power. Hundreds of thousands of windmills are shutdown, not a single blade turning. Their excuse is they all froze No rolling blackouts, they just pulled the plug. If your near a hospital or walmarts you have power. Fire,EMT and Police also have power without running generators. The whole thing stinks of New York and California bullshit.

I have a buddy that works in the energy industry that has nothing good to say about wind farms.

Yes, cold will shut them down, among other things. He's got a list of stuff that will shut them down that just makes you wonder what the point of windmills is.

So, I don't know how much is hype and how much is bad engineering.

Windmills are great, IF you are a farmer wanting a windmill or 2 to supplement power consumed off grid.

They simply are not well suited for grid generation. Same with solar.

With both wind and solar, outside of some geographical exceptions, really aren't reliable enough for a grid that needs 99.9% uptime.

I know many that have worked for Blattner Energy for nearly 20yrs. They were told yesterday early to go home and stay home. First power cut was 5pm cst then the majority of the State crashed at 2am. Those turbines couldnt have possibly frozen in less than 48 hrs in 15-20° weather

[–] 0 pt

Only 15-20? Here, I thought they were dealing with the subzero stuff we are in Colorado. That definitely sounds hinky, then.

Im here, proof is there. ALL BULLSHIT

[–] 1 pt

The rolling black includes 17 states. I live i iowa we have a shit to of wind turbine which are unaffected by the cold right now.q

Is Enron back in business?

Evil green yetis broke out of bad yeti prison in Antarctica and traveled through underground dumbs to texas where they unleashed their cold weather warfare tech on the surface. Dont worry we knew this was gonna happen. Cloned super hero actors are fully armed underground in a sting trap senario to bring them back to justice. Next is prison on the moon for the baddies. Don Quixote to the rescue.

This is one of the few times that NY and California do not get blame. This is a once-in-a-lifetime cold snap, and Texas just didn't ramp up energy production enough. It did not buy enough Natgas. Frozen windmills certainly aren't helping, but by themselves they are not the cause.

The mills are not frozen. Cant possibly be in less than 48hrs with temps in high teens low 20's No possible way in hell. They pulled the plug for profit loss's. End of story.

BIngo, you know. They contract for a $ out of state. The grid dips, they demand more, the outer supplier demands more $ as a result of its hit on its own grid and plans in effect prior. FPL for instance has no service vehicles now, they contract PIKE and Georgia Power. When a storm hits, they charge more $ because the GOVernment is subsidising and they can. Its laid out in advance. This is nothing new. Texas had 7 days of warning. HOWEVER, contracts were in place 1-20-2021 with an exec order and a Biden Pen. BENDOVER Patriots ;-)

I know Im on the mark, well over the target. They fuckin nuked Texas for what Texas is pushing back on. This aint over

I am a VP for an energy company that has part of its business monitoring and managing the data from wind farms (among many many other things that we do related to energy). We get the same management fee whether the turbine is operating or not. Our operators...that I know personally...confirmed that all the turbines in our portfolio in Texas had frozen.

Texas is a big state though...with many wind farms. No idea of the conditions for our turbines versus others.

With that said, I'm really not sure how there's profit for the actual owners and operators of the turbines in pulling the plug? In fact they are probably on the hook for power they promised to supply to the ERCOT ISO market, and will have to pay out of pocket for that.

Mike Adams spelled all that earlier today.

They cant freeze in under 48hrs in 15-25° weather dumb ass. Normally they run constantly well into freezing themps of several other states. Drinking beer with s Blattener hand right now,she says they shut them down. Her D4 secure was flip switched. She is now having a third beer. Shove your corperate data. We are here live

IF, you are a VP, you sir are a useless eater. YOU should not be in charge of the clock to change to daylight savings.

RETIRE and call it a day, you sir are a part of the problem.

USEFUL Patriots have command of the industry and THRIVE On delivering for the People. YOU, well, you embaress me and the Patriot movement with your comment.

Your the sigmiture for a diesel powered charging station for electric cars. The sign off on wind turbines that are a joke with GE paying ZERO TAX . FUCK OFF

The whole thing is bullshit. I don’t know why they are doing the blackouts but it’s not because of the stupid fucking windmills.

Ok, so typing that I just thought of this. Maybe the rolling blackouts are being done on purpose and they are saying it’s from the windmills so people have a false sense of how much power the windmills make. The whole thing is stupid because a lot of people heat their homes with gas. The summer has way more energy demand because of A/C but you can’t fake a bunch of shut off windmills during the summer like you can for this.

Most of the power made in Texas goes to Florida Light on the east coast. Every unit built, assembled and put online CAN NOT duty cycle enough to ever pay for itself. Royalties up to $4k per unit is paid to landowners that now grow hybrid cotton crops. Wheres the cotton go? China, straight to the port in Houston and across the pond. Sold Out,Sold Off F U C K E D!

[–] 0 pt

Do you have a source for this claim? Texas is on a completely separate grid from Florida and does not sell power outside of its own grid.

[–] 0 pt

Not anymore. I know someone, personally, that is involved with running new transmission lines across the state lines into Louisiana.

20yrs living with the land owners and employ of Blattener Energy. Been plenty of court battles played out and paid off. Two decades of this shit, folks just went back to living.

Water is now being cut off in west Texas towns because of power loss to pumping stations/treatment plants

there is a winter storm . yes they do happen in texas and yes it does freeze in the dessert. Something else than being frozen is keeping them off

They claim because of energy usage, but think of how many people have alternative heating sources to electricity, compared to have alternatives for cooling a house. Are there blackouts during the hot days of summer? I know it costs more to heat, but I would think the alternatives (wood burning, propane, etc...) might balance it out.

They made it illegal to use wood burning stoves, collect rain water, and such. Solar had conditions as did any home improvement. They are overstepping. They are OUR EMPLOYEES. DO YOU UNDERSTAND PATRIOT ?

THEY WORK FOR US>

Whoa now....its illegal to use wood burning stove? I would love for a sheriff to come to my house because of a stove.

I'm guessing that's just Texas? Because I have a shit load of rain water collections.

[–] 0 pt

Yeah I live in Texas and have a ton of rain water collected and know several people with wood burning stoves. I don't know where that's illegal.

Operators are operating.
