He really did not.
He was a 14 year old jewish kid in Hungary. He could not aid them in any way, nor did they ever ask.
In fact, his family's escape from Hungary was aided by a government employee who produced false documents for them. Young Soros did a "ride-along" with this person during an inventory of a jewish estate. This employee also had a jewish wife in hiding, so he was not a "nazi" either.
