I don’t complete disagree with you, at least to a point, but see my other comment. The moderation seems prone to mood or whim.
I haven't paid much attention to the moderation, generally speaking I think the moderation has been pretty good ... but I don't shit post, shill, antagonize, call people names or threaten them. I'm just here to learn, discuss, debate. I post a lot so we have issues to be aware of, discuss and debate, debunk. To me, everything else is a distraction. If I wanted those distractions, I'd be spending more time on other subverses.
I look forward to your direct response if you think an active user should have been permanently banned for a single comment.

Overly aggressive moderators do not help to enlarge the tent, I totally agree. Under aggressive mods drive anons away too through inaction allowing their sub to turn into a jungle. Its a balancing act, and mods are human. I can't comment on something serious that I'm not versed about, lest I want my foot in my mouth or to eat my own words.
