It sounds like you have never served in the military. The rank and file know how to follow orders but don’t mistake this as being dumb & blind sheep. They know the difference of a lawful and unlawful order (UCMJ) and they are the type of people who know how to critically think. The top brass may be more Obama, Biden and Clinton people, but the majority of enlisted, the ones with their fingers on the triggers aren’t. If they were to be given orders to fire upon their own countrymen & women, their own families/friends/neighbors this is when the military would be divided just like the rest of the country because they’d refuse such orders.
