I agree the first vehicle with Biden in it was not the "Beast" it was filthy dirty as well. But the aircraft is a bit of a red herring as the Callsign Air Force 1 is used regardless of whichever aircraft is used. As well as the 2 747's there is also a fleet of other smaller aircraft like that one Biden got onto was a C32a (757 200). The smoke was from an engine start, and happens a lot, the APU would be running already.
