//Rant How do people not see the escalation of the assault on the first amendment? They are trying to reach the tipping point of popular opinion demanding hateful/incendiary speech be outlawed AND punishable by law. Of course only they define hateful/incendiary. While I do believe freedom loving people outnumber the other side, I don’t know how long that lasts without some huge moves. It’s so obvious to us that they use the same MO to attack all other values/morals/laws. Their ultimate goal of complete control is so clearly written across every wall. How is it not obvious to everyone? This being a battle of good vs evil is truly the only thing that makes sense to me. Something is blinding these people. I get that they are brainwashed by the media and pop culture, in general. But they are also completely blind to the hypocrisy spewed by their heroes. You know, that complete hypocrisy of singing Kumbaya with antifa all year and then pirouette right into impeachment?? Now all neatly packaged to rile up their base so people stop fighting for the first amendment and fight against it! That’s just the hypocrisy of the week. They are endless in their quest of turning everything upside down. They want nothing less than to make every good soul believe they themselves were the ones being blinded. Something far more powerful than AOC is blinding them. For many, myself included, it’s hard not to sometimes just chalk these people up as souls lost to the dark side. But then you remember your brother, sister, son or daughter may also be blinded. Maybe it’s a friend you have known, loved and respected your entire life. Perhaps your wife or husband. Then you start thinking...”God, Country, Family” I fear humanity is getting closer to this dilemma every passing day. You can just feel it in the air.
