Yesterday, Feb. 9, it was reported that Eli Lilly, Co. CFO Josh Smiley resigned because the drug company discovered that "The company didn't specify the exact nature of the communications, but said it began to investigate when it received word that CFO Josh Smiley had engaged in an inappropriate relationship with one employee." https://www.upi.com/Top_News/US/2021/02/09/Drugmaker-Eli-Lilly-ousts-CFO-over-inappropriate-conduct/8161612880099/

"The company said Anat Ashkenazi, an executive with Lilly Research Laboratories, will succeed Smiley in the post. Ashkenazi is a 20-year Lilly employee and served as finance head for several of the company's global business areas."

That's an interesting last name he's got there.

The history of the Ashkenazi Jews began with migration from the Middle and Near East to Central Europe. The term “Ashkenazi” actually comes from the Hebrew word for “Germany,” reflecting the fact that many of them settled in Germany and along the Rhine Valley. Over time, the Ashkenazim were pushed back into Eastern Europe, developing close-knit communities and a rich cultural and religious tradition. They have historically been persecuted, banned from working in many professions and sometimes prevented from living in specific regions. https://www.wisegeek.com/who-are-the-ashkenazi-jews.htm

What else happened at Eli Lilly on Feb. 9?

"Today, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration issued an emergency use authorization (EUA) for bamlanivimab and etesevimab administered together for the treatment of mild to moderate COVID-19 in adults and pediatric patients (12 years of age or older weighing at least 40 kilograms [about 88 pounds]) who test positive for SARS-CoV-2 and who are at high risk for progressing to severe COVID-19. The authorized use includes treatment for those who are 65 years of age or older or who have certain chronic medical conditions."

"Under the EUA, fact sheets that provide important information about using bamlanivimab and etesevimab administered together in treating COVID-19 as authorized must be made available to health care providers and to patients and caregivers. These fact sheets include dosing instructions, potential side effects and drug interactions. Serious and unexpected adverse events including hypersensitivity, anaphylaxis, and infusion-related reactions have been observed with bamlanivimab with and without coadministration of etesevimab. In addition, clinical worsening following bamlanivimab administration has been reported, although it is not known if these events were related to bamlanivimab use or were due to progression of COVID-19. Possible side effects of bamlanivimab and etesevimab administered together include nausea, dizziness, pruritus, and rash." https://www.fda.gov/news-events/press-announcements/coronavirus-covid-19-update-fda-authorizes-monoclonal-antibodies-treatment-covid-19-0

It's being reported that this is the treatment President Trump received when he got CoVID. https://www.fresnobee.com/news/local/article248874114.html
