I keep getting these subtle hints sent to me that they don't like something I'm doing.

What am I doing?

Removing those that hate/mock us, or are here to cause disruptions and kill our morale, among other things. Apparently someone's "free speech" to come in here trumps our right to assemble and have our own little corner of the internet. We all know they're not here to have any kind of real discussion, and most of them are probably paid to be here and cause this kind of havoc.

But here on Poal, there's no real ownership of a sub. No real boundaries we can set for users... because our banlist is SOOOO LONG. Globalist policies forcing us to accept "immigrants" just like Voat tried to force on us. I'd wager half the banlist is alts of people that just want to come here and start shit.

But hey, you can ignore like, what, 40 people now? OH YAY! How many of you would have block lists as long as my banlist if you could? Well, you can't.

I've tried pretty consistently to get clarification of rules and guidelines, and to get them in writing, but the admins seem pretty averse to setting anything in stone. The only real rule they have written anywhere in ToS or User Guide is that they can take this sub from me (or even a sub I make, myself) whenever they want, and for whatever reason they choose.

Bottom line:

They don't want to give me ownership of the sub.

Even if we swap to another sub that I created, they can take that away from me for doing what I'm doing.

Please re check the sub log. I think you might have forgotten some things that you did.

Crensch you can call me a liar, but the logs are public. Anyone can see them.

I'm not going to go through the logs and make a list of every single user and where they interacted with you and why you banned them. I recommend you check the logs.

I will not hand over Owner status of a sub to someone who can't handle dissenting opinions. If you had created the sub, which you are more than welcome to make one and you have the ability to do that. It wouldn't be any of my business but you are asking me to make an admin choice to hand a previously created sub owned by an undeleted user to you because you want it and if I don't do it you are going to make a huge deal about it and threaten me in PMs about making it a public debate.

That type of behavior shows me you are not someone I want to hand Ownership status of anything to.

You wanted it public so here it is all out in the open.

You ban at the first sign of dissent, and if you had created it, it wouldn't be my business. However when you asked me to hand you ownership you made it my business. You are already a mod and I haven't done anything to change that.

I am sincerely sorry I can't do what you want but I have to follow my best judgement and the way you have behaved sets off some pretty loud alarm bells for me, specifically threats.

You told me 4 days ago that my banlist was a problem for you and basically said you wouldn't hand it over to me. This submission wasn't up 4 days ago. None of this was public.

Threats? I'm not threatening anything. I'm being gaslighted by you, and you're trying to paint me in a negative light. Your rejection of my request sent a message that I wrote in DMs to clarify. You refused to get back to me - why wouldn't I think you were basically on the verge of removing me? You'll forgive me for quoting what was in DM:

I appreciate that. I do. But it reads as an inevitability of removal. "Powermodding" apparently defined as ??? I don't even know anymore. Too many bans? For the most hated sub on your platform? For the most hated USERS on your platform? Absurd.

... I just read your invitation to make my own sub so I'll stop there.

You'll leave my sub alone and I can ban all the jackwagons and have a banlog like this one and you won't intervene? I mean, AS LONG AS I DO NOT BAN ANYONE THAT HAS NOT INTERACTED WITH MY SUB, right?

If you're good with that, publicly, I'll move us all to another sub and we'll bury the hatchet here.

As I have stated before, You are welcome to create your own sub in which you will be free to do as you please. You however will not be free from criticism outside that sub. If you want to ban every single user who criticizes you, you are free to do that. Too a point. You already made a sub and I have no plans to intervene at any point in any of the goings on of that sub.

Too a point means if I see CP. The poster is done. period no questions asked no debate. If the sub becomes a haven for things that are against the ToS that would force me to step in. IE cp or, underage users(you must be 13 or older to have a poal account) or specific threats of violence or anything else against the ToS I will have to step in. Please review the ToS(I'm assuming you already have) for more exact details.

Last the sub cannot be a default sub. never was.

I am trying to be as absolutely crystal clear as I can right now because I'll not have this situation repeating itself due to ToS violations. I have to keep poal online. That means there are a few rules I have to follow. I won't have the site shutdown because some user decided they were above the very limited rules we all have to follow.
