Correction, Trump was an HOUR late to the Jan 6th rally, on purpose, even though the rally was in his back yard. Trump then continued to speak well past 1pm which was when the combined house and senate were to begin. Trump wanted to make sure as few "true Trump supporters" were on capitol hill when the action started.
