The fact that travelers will still have to present proof of their negative CoVID status isn't much different, but I'm wondering what sparked their decision to roll back the passport. Too many people catching on? Maybe they want to wait for more people to die from the vaccine? Could it be they're waiting for a certain percentage of the public to be vaccinated before introducing the passport? Only time will tell. One thing we know for sure is that they aren't going to give up on their plans of total control.

LONDON (Reuters) - Britain will not introduce COVID-19 vaccine passports, but people will be able to seek proof from their doctor if needed for travel to other countries, vaccine deployment minister Nadhim Zahawi said on Sunday.

“We are certainly not looking to introduce it as part of the vaccine deployment programme,” Zahawi told Sky News.
