FTA: "Constitutional law professor Jonathan Turley argued that the idea that former President Donald Trump not testifying in front of the House can be used against him in his trial “contradicts not just our constitutional principles but centuries of legal writing.”

“Presidents have historically not testified at impeachment trials. One reason is that, until now, only sitting presidents have been impeached and presidents balked at the prospect of being examined as head of the executive branch by the legislative branch,” he wrote for Fox News on Feb. 7.

“Moreover, it was likely viewed as undignified and frankly too risky. Indeed, most defense attorneys routinely discourage their clients from testifying in actual criminal cases because the risks outweigh any benefits. Finally, Trump is arguing that this trial is unconstitutional and thus he would be even less likely to depart from tradition and appear as a witness.” ..."

What troubles me is the fact there were only 45 Senators that voted that the impeachment of a private citizen was unconstitutional. Remember, we have 4 Repub senators voting for impeachment. Let their names go down in history in infamy.

˅ Mitt Romney of Utah

˅ Lisa Murkowski of Alaska

˅ Susan Collins of Maine

˅ Ben Sasse of Nebraska

˅ Pat Toomey of Pennsylvania

The I question I have is whether Trump's lawyers are allowed to present the evidence. Since, there's ALREADY a huge conflict or interest with a very biased, anti-Trump demoncrat senator presiding over the impeachment hearing. This makes him both Judge and Jury and the entire fiasco is nothing other than a kangaroo court. I really don't have a good feeling about this.

Those that scream the loudest have the most to hide and to fear.

Great list of traitors

How absolutely true that statement is.

Sounds as if the demons have no proof if one must "trash the Constitution" to get a conviction.
