Not tryin' to be mysterious, just preserving from what could be hazardous curiosity stirred up.
I understand completely. I've done a lot of research into these sort of groups and the things they dabble in, and I know they're fake as shit with their pretentious 'spiritual' right hand path BS. I also understand that some of what they practice can have long-term consequences, and that sometimes they continue to prey on their ex-members long after they leave.
Personally, I don't think it's a good idea to follow the teachings of anyone who claims to have occult knowledge and to put yourself in their hands. There are no quick routes to enlightenment, and it should be a personal pursuit.
Long behind me. long gone those ways. Normally never ever speak of it. But i am good to give a tiny bit of info, to let folks know summa dis s__t is REAL.
I understand the science of RVing fairly well, tried it in simple form a few times, and had pretty accurate results each time. I've also done a little telekinesis, but never anything worth continuing with. I'm more interested in understanding reality than playing around with it.
Sounds like you "get it", truly they are left hand paths. Even the seemingly compassionate ones.
I have nothing to do with the occult now. Glad to be free of that mess.
Not to play with reality for sure, but i was always game to try things out to learn from them.
The motivator was altruistic intent to make things better for "humanity", but human leaders tend to fail. Often are seduced by their own manipulation and end up deceived. Took years for me to learn that.
Anything i obtain by word of knowledge or word of wisdom is by His Holy Spirit. No longer divination an' all that.
Not having to prove myself by works or thoughts of never being enough. Freedom for sure!
You being a seeker means life becomes adventure. That has its own reward.

The ego often gets in the way.

Yep. It's a personal journey and that's how it's supposed to be.
5:5.
It is called an ego trip, but i call it tripping over one's ego. Pride goeth before a crash. Yeah i tweaked that a bit. ; )
