I already left...

That number is too low, imo.

When one thinks of Mitch McConnell and Ben Sasse, the number automatically seems much higher than this.

I like the idea of "The Patriot Party". Time to change the narrative.

For years the media and unhinged left has propagandized the Republican party being racist, sexist, bigoted homophobes, who believe the Earth is flat and only 6000 years old.

How about this narrative? I belong to the Patriot Party, who believes in FREE SPEECH, SELF GOVERNANCE, SMALL GOVERNMENT AND THE CONSTITUTION, which gives ownership and rights to the people not the government. Oh, you are a Democrat? So you don't believe in individual freedoms, self governance, self ownership, but want to be a collective owned and taken care of by a small elite?

It will be hard for them to rebut the new narrative. They support slavery, we do not.

I do too. I also think we'd be more likely to pick up Democrat Patriots that way.

Yup, screw all those other decisive talking points of contention, the Patriot Party should be about , ...ok, get ready for it .... Constitutionalism, I think I just coined the phrase behind which the Patriot Party should be solely focused on.

Edit: A Party based on adherence to both the letter and spirit of the constitution, which also does bring back God into the equation, because the Constitution is unfit for those without an abiding faith in both the concept of God and the precepts of how we are to live.

Let the door slam them in the ass when they leave- not soon enough for me.

That would be a perfect way to insure that the Democrats never lose another election ever. Split the Republican party and make the Democrats the most powerful party.

Dont trust all polls everything is being gaslit and all facts are being bent to a certain narative the public majority dont support. Most people who voted for trump know this black lives matter shit all of it all of it is the banks angry about the we are the 99% stuff that haptened in NYC before trump won. they are trying to protect their ill gotten gains it doesnt matter who they hurt and what they destroy.

There won’t be enough republicans left to have a party by then. The people who have left and would leave will be the majority. Same with the democrats or those who voted for Xiden.

Agree - and also believe a new party would pick up a lot of Dem Pats.

Then you dont understand how lost the left is.

I believe I do. Most Americans want the same basic things. The biased media wants us to believe all Democrats are radicalized when the reality is that the majority of "radicalized" Democrats we see are paid to be that way.

I'm not waiting until 2024 and then voting. We are being punked by everyone

Agreed - This country will be gone within the year if no action is taken.

I am not a noted mathematician but I do understand that two thirds is greater than one third. Why should the two thirds leave when they clearly have the numbers to control the existing party. Party control is from the bottom up and when I go to the local party meeting, none of these two thirds show up. The party continues to be dominated by the same minority group who has controlled for years. If hard core Trump supporters would stop complaining and making idle threats about forming a new and pure party and start organizing at the lowest level, they could take over in short order. Just 10 to 15 like minded people showing up at every local party meeting could take over all the way to the state and national level.

Democrats, especially the most radical ones learned long ago that politics is not a game and the only objective is to win. They work every day and use any tactic necessary to achieve their objective. Even in the most republican states, democrats control the elections and set the rules. Republicans, especially the more conservative variety seem to believe that the superiority of their ideology should prevail. They become passionate about the top of the ticket but pay very little attention to the lower levels.

I sometimes think we would rather complain than make the sacrifices and compromises necessary to win. What I greatly admire about President Trump is his work ethic, willingness to fight and make sacrifices and most of all, his perseverance. My only real disappointment with him was his failure to create a loyal organization prior to embarking on this crusade. Despite the setback, I haven’t given up and don’t think he has either.

This is an EXCELLENT post - and accurate as heck.

democrats control the elections and set the rules.

Absolutely - there is NO ZERO NIL ZILCH Patriot involvement in our election SYSTEM - it is COMPLETELY Globalist controlled. Fixing the machines alone will NOT fix the corrupt election SYSTEM.

we would rather complain than make the sacrifices and compromises necessary to win.

Yes - lots of complainers, very few "doers." Organizing anything that would further our agenda is like herding cats. People continue to minimize the EXTENSIVE organization of the Globalists - and it is our Achilles heel.

I haven’t given up and don’t think he has either.

100% - There's a lot I question, but I firmly believe Trump is NOT letting this go.

I'm not letting it go, I'll be that old man talking to kids about dirty bastards who no one remembers.

Everyone has a job to do o7

It would probably mean the Republicans would have no hope in the next election, and neither would the new party. But there's little hope now, and it's the only way to break the trend of boiling frogs.

Maybe. If you really believe in "Trumpism".

Neither Republicans nor a new party will have any hope in the next election without a complete election SYSTEM overhaul.
