US, UK, Russia and Canada (just a selection) ALL had their cases peak on the same day. That day was 7th Jan (US) which is the day after the senate confirmed the "Biden won the presidential election" results. After the peak the fall-off in cases has been dramatic, even though all those countries had "endemic" levels of cases.

Well the steep rise in cases 2 weeks before the election is a hell of a coincidence as well.
