What is a752-09-0017? Define for non-planefags, please.

B752 is a Boeing 757-200 registration #09-0017 used as the call sign. Usually when president is onboard the call sign is AF1 www.planespotters.net/hex/AE4AEA

Thanks for your prompt and informative reply. I'm really interested in this because I don't believe for one second Joe has access to Marine One or AF1.
