I don't trust anything Robert Steele puts out. He's retired CIA? Once CIA, always CIA. Don't ever forget that. His continued visibility in the public domain is proof-positive for me.

It's good to view everyone with skepticism. I think Steele is highly intelligent, but he can be an arrogant jerk. I also didn't appreciate him jumping on the digital identity bandwagon (which, in fairness, he does seem to have backed off.)

I just don't understand how this guy can be front-and-center with all this "Intel" when it is most certain former CIA agents sign a non-disclosure clause before leaving. The military works this way. I believe all honorable CIA personnel should really quietly fade away in the sunset. Otherwise, chances are they're still active and being used for DISINFO purposes. Buyer beware of ex-CIA and ex-military, who are front-and-center in front of a microphone.
