I personally don't agree with deals except maybe for low-level players who provide evidence that implicates the higher-ups. These people have had EVERY opportunity to come clean and, not only have they chosen not to, they've continued their crimes and, even worse, harmed those who have chosen to be be truthful. I want to see then prosecuted to the full extent allowable under the law - AND I want all their ill-gotten assets confiscated. They've ruined so many lives, and allowing these people to live in luxury on the ill-gotten gains is repulsive. Not only that, seizing their financial assets makes it harder for them to reconstitute their power.
