All the better that they are 'requesting' he appear ... being there by request puts him in a very strong position to present The Evidence ... vs him just showing up and demanding to be heard.

Title says it is His impeachment trial.... more correctly it is THEIR impeachment trial ... The Dems filed for the impeachment: trump did not file for an impeachment...... word optics ...they own it, not Trump
