JFK, a few days before he was killed, did an Executive Order to withdraw U.S. troops from Vietnam. Within a few days of JFK's death, LBJ escalated the Vietnam War for the Military Industrial Complex.
JFK stepped on a lot of toes: wanted to bust up the CIA into a thousand pieces (good idea), fired Allen Dulles, started printing U.S. Currency (not Federal Reserve notes), refused to give Israel a Nuke, and on and on. Unlike Trump, JFK did not have the Military behind him. But shortly after JFK's assassination, the group of 900 U.S. Generals began to develop the PLAN that is now being unfolded as we speak.
Reagan got our Captured Embassy workers who were kidnapped in Iran, left there by Carter to rot for years. Reagan got them out! You need to watch the movies: "ARGO" and "American Made", before you criticize Reagan.
I'll agree with you about what you sayJFK did, but I would still argue the immigration has been one of the most destructive actions in our history.
I think I did see ARGO. However, I strongly caution you against thinking Hollywood reflects reality. Granted, there can be truths to learn in movies, but they are designed to program you. I listened to a friend assume what he saw on a movie with fact. (Granted, the movie was billed as a dramatization of an event, but, there was no reason to assume accuracy.)
I watched the hostages being released during the inauguration. There is no way that could've been coincidence; thus, it was collusion with a foreign power, against a sitting POTUS. This is plain as day.
Even the mere activity "Reagan got them out." would've been illegal. They were released as he wqs being sworn in as POTUS. How could it have been proper to take action to get them out before he took office?
Rmember the Iran-Contra scandal? Money for hostages?
Carter did not do simply leave them to rot as you state. He sent in a rescue mission. It failed, but at least an attempt was.made. Carter also kept them in the public awareness; implying he forgot them is absurd.
