I know when my grandmother was diagnosed with dementia, they gave my mother power of attorney. Just may be their way of getting around any questions. Not that it should be used for EO’s, but you know how they bend the law.
I believe a President required to have a Power Attorney to sign for him, creates a huge Constitutional Crisis.

There are limits to what a POA can and can't do. They can't alter a will for example (at least in all jurisdictions that I am familiar with), or change the beneficiaries on life insurance policies or investments accounts. I would think signing an executive order would be a no no. Also, when signing as POA, the POA signs with their own signature and then writes "POA FOR (INSERT NAME)". Signing someone else's signature is fraud.
Bingo, if Joe didn't physically sign those EO's and an individual with the power of attorney did, those executive orders are worthless.

I do too, but there’s no doubting that he’s in severe cognitive decline. If Jill is signing for him, power of attorney would be a way to do it. I’m sure it’s not legal, but then when have they ever cared about legal?
